If you are a beginner in Italian, the new Netflix reality television series is a perfect linguistic choice for you. You will understand everything or almost everything.
Love is blind Italy (L’amore è cieco)
is the Italian version of the popular Netflix reality dating series. The show follows a social experiment where heterosexual single men and women look for love and get engaged while talking to each other through a paper wall. They choose their future spouses without seeing them.
Of course, all candidates are beautiful, slim, tall, have a good job, no one is disabled, fat, or in any way beautiful in a non-standard way. Beautiful people on a blind date.
If it sounds stupid, that’s because it is.
I’m only recommending this series for linguistic reasons, only to beginners who don’t have much choice when it comes to authentic Italian content. And mainly the first two episodes.
