Many people want to start their online Italian lessons again from the basics to “get everything in their head”. We do not recommend it! It is much better to join a group of your level because in every group in class there is repetition. This way you won’t get bored and, in fact, you will repeat everything and it will get it in your head.
When you contact us to enroll in the Italian course, we ask you:
How long have you studied Italian?
How long have you been on break?
Do you have contact with Italian in your daily life?
Which manual have you studied with recently (if you remember it).

So we invite you to the interview: a placement test. This interview takes place online on Zoom.
It lasts about 20 minutes. There is no need to prepare for it in any way.
The purpose of the interview is to establish your level and find the right group for it, in which you will continue your study of Italian.

There is absolutely no need to stress, it is not an Italian exam, you cannot fail, nor pass it with top marks.
What will we talk about?
For example, during interviews with people who have studied for a semester we verify basic knowledge regarding:
Grammar (articles, creation of the plural form, conjugation of verbs)
Vocabulary (nationalities, professions, places in the city)
Communication (introducing yourself, talking about your day, free time)
The material obviously depends on the student’s previous experience in learning Italian.
During the interview we use a multimedia presentation, on which the different tasks are indicated. You don’t have to write anything, we don’t correct any errors.
