Italy is widely associated with delicious food, beautiful sights, and romantic culture. It’s a popular vacation destination, where the sun always shines, the people are beautiful, the streets are filled with music, and love is always in the air.
While those may be some reasons to visit Italy, they are not the only reasons to learn Italian. Here are a few less obvious reasons to learn the language:
Learning a new language is good for your brain
Learning a new language as an adult is a refreshing and surprising experience. It’s something completely new, and it’s the best food and exercise for your brain. The mind rests best with attractive intellectual challenges.
