Gabriele Dander

Gabriele Dander is a teacher by vocation, he knows several languages, including Polish and Chinese. He lived and worked in many countries around the world. He is also a CELI examiner.

My name is Gabriele and I come from the province of Novara, between Piedmont and Lombardy. My passions are music, opera, cinema, travel but above all foreign languages, not only teaching them but also learning them. Having a degree in linguistics and CEDILS teaching certificates and CELI examiners, I began my teaching career in China, where I lived for two years. I have also previously lived in Ireland and Germany. Following the pandemic I started teaching Italian online. In my lessons I try to give the same importance to the Italian language and culture, in the same way I am interested in Polish culture, in particular Wisława Szymborska (of which I have memorized a poem in Polish!) and the musical group Dżem (I know how to play “Wehikul czasu” on the guitar!). In my lessons, therefore, in addition to linguistic in-depth study, you can also expect some literary/cinematic/musical advice every now and then!
