Short interview to find you the best italian course!

If you have learned Italian before, it is worth to check what you remember. In most cases, there is no point in starting from the very beginning, the rules of pronunciation and buongiorno!

Many people want to start italian classes from the very basics to get everything right in their heads. We advise not to! It is much better to join a group at your level, because in each group there are repetitions in every class. This way you won’t be bored during the classes, and at the same time you will repeat everything.

When you contact us to sign up for Italian, we will ask you:
How long have you been learning Italian?
How long have you been on break?
Do you have any contact with Italian on a daily basis?
What textbook did you learn from (if you remember).

Then we will arrange an interview.

This is an online meeting.
It takes about 20 minutes.
There is no need to prepare for it in any way.

The purpose of the interview is to determine your level of language knowledge and to match it to the appropriate group in which you will continue learning.

You absolutely shouldn’t stress (it’s not an Italian language exam, you can’t fail it and you can’t get maximum points :).

What are we going to talk about?
For example, during a conversation with people who have studied for one semester, we check their knowledge of basics in the field of:
-grammar (article, plural formation, verb conjugation)
-lexics (nationalities, names of professions, places in the city, etc.)
-communication (introducing yourself, talking about your day, free time).
The scope of the material depends on the listener’s previous experience with learning Italian.

We will provide information about the level and possible groups to choose from within two days by e-mail.
The diagnostic interview is free of charge and does not obligate you to join the school.
